Three Late Notes is a jazz trio built on surprise.
David Munday (saxophone and trumpet), Peter Shilling (guitar) and Leanne Munday (double bass) have the jazz canon covered — standards, swing, blues, all of it.
But the real fun starts when they get their hands on a pop song. Coldplay, Guns N’ Roses, Blondie, Dolly Parton — turns out they were all jazz musicians who just didn’t know it yet.The result is music that feels familiar and completely fresh at the same time. Whether you’re a jazz devotee or someone who just had their Fleetwood Mac favourites turned into a bossa nova, you’ll find something to love.
