Step By Step – EP

The tracks on this EP have been with me for a long time, some dreamed up many years ago. What’s special and exciting about these recordings is the fresh instrumentation. Featured on these tracks is the amazing French cellist Chloé Mendola. Weaving parts, creating movement, within and alongside the finger-style acoustic guitar (my usually MO!) the cello adds a new depth to these tracks.

Other than Chloé’s cello, the rest of the production was, as is usual, again in my hands. Performing guitar, recording, mixing and everything else that goes into a EP. I feel like these tracks reflect a more mature approach to all of these roles.

The EP features 3 main tracks and 2 remixes. I couldn’t decide which version I like more so I’ve included an alternative mix / version of both Step By Step and Regret Part II.
